A two-player Moon job gone wrong
Together: Moon Escape is a story-driven puzzle adventure for exactly two players, set in low gravity on the Moon. You both play Moonfishers, astronauts hired by Moontella, a trillionaire corporation that mines rare and questionably carcinogenic lunar slimes to ship to high-end restaurants on Earth. The job was supposed to be simple, and then something went wrong. The tone is a parody rather than a serious space story: expect absurd tools, ridiculous logic, and dark humor as you try to escape the slime empire.
How you play it together
There is no solo mode. You play split-screen on one machine or online, and the whole campaign is built around asymmetric puzzles: each player sees different things, controls different systems, or has to act in sync with the other. That means talking constantly — one of you will be reading or operating something while the other reacts. Communication is the actual mechanic here, not a bonus.
The tools lean into the joke. The Slime Fryer and the Slime Vision Goggles solve puzzles, and they also work for pranking your partner. Low gravity does the rest: falling into a crater again is part of the fun.
What you'll explore
The journey takes you across varied environments — the Moon's surface, dark caves, derelict ships, and secret facilities. The puzzles are handcrafted rather than procedural, and every mechanic ties back into the narrative, so the pace is more escape-room problem solving than constant shooting, even though first-person tools and physics are in play.
Before you start
Grab one partner you actually want to talk to, since the game demands cooperation rather than parallel play. The build runs on Unreal Engine, is optimized for low-end systems and Steam Deck at 60fps, and supports Remote Play Together if you'd rather stream it to someone instead of both owning it.
