Running an e-sports team from the coach's seat

Teamfight Manager puts you in charge of a virtual e-sports pro team. You recruit players, train them, build up facilities and equipment, and decide who plays each match. Every player comes with their own attack and defense abilities, plus champion skill levels, so the roster you assemble matters as much as the tactics you call during a game. Some players carry traits that give them differentiating skills, which can change how useful they are in a given lineup. Funds are part of the job: you weigh what the team can afford against what the players actually need to grow.

Pick, ban, and the fight itself

Matches run on a pick and ban system. You look at the champion pool and pick the combination that fits your players and your opponent's habits, paying attention to which champions your players pick often, which ones your opponents favor, and how well the picks work together. Each champion has one basic skill that fires on cooldown and an Ultimate that can be used once per set, so judging a champion's abilities and skill characteristics before locking it in is the core of the strategy. Once the set starts, each champion fights under deathmatch rules for one minute, and the team with more kills takes it. Since the fights play out on their own, your decisions before and during the pick phase are what tilt the result.

Growing the roster and the club

Building a stronger team comes from two directions: recruiting better players or training the ones you already have. On top of that, you can construct equipment and improve facilities to give players a better environment to perform in. Managing funds, player skills, and team infrastructure together is the long game you play between matches, working toward the world championship title.

Playing with friends

The game supports online PvP. You can play 1v1 friendly matches, or invite up to 10 friends into a league and settle who runs the better team. It also works as a singleplayer experience if you'd rather manage the club on your own.
