A fantasy RPG built around a traveling party
Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition follows an epic adventure in a civilization that depends on an ancient technology called blastia, and on the Empire that controls it. Two friends travel separate paths before their fates intertwine in a conflict that threatens the existence of all. This is the Definitive version, with updated full HD graphics, brand-new music tracks, new mini-games and bosses, and a collection of unreleased costume DLC. The party grows along the way: Patty Fleur, a cheerful and tough young pirate girl searching for treasure, adventure, and her forgotten memories, and Flynn Scifo, Yuri's best friend and an Imperial Knight, both join the journey as playable characters.
Playing together
The game supports Remote Play Together, so a group can share the session while one person runs the game. The tag list also includes Local Co-Op and Multiplayer, so check the game's own options once you are in to see what applies to your setup. Either way, the core of the experience is a party-based roster you build and swap through as you travel.
Before you start
Expect a story-rich, party-based action RPG with fantasy themes, a soundtrack with new tracks added for this edition, and a world to explore. The added content — extra characters, mini-games, bosses, music, and costume DLC — sits alongside the original campaign, so a first run can take in the full arc before digging into the extras.
