A road trip through an open world
FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION follows Noctis and his companions on a journey across a large open world to reclaim their homeland. Combat is real-time and action-focused: you swing weapons, warp through the air, and combine magic and team-based attacks with your comrades. The game also includes a First Person Mode if you would rather see Eos from a different angle.
Playing together online
The Steam version supports Online Co-op and Online PvP. The Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades is included, which is the co-op portion of the package. Beyond that, the main campaign is built around travelling with your party, so your group can watch the story unfold and take in the soundtrack together even when only one person holds the controller.
What is in this edition
This Windows Edition bundles the base game with everything released through the Season Pass: Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Episode Ignis, and the Comrades expansion. It also adds the Insomnia City Ruins: Expanded Map, Armiger Unleashed, off-road Regalia customisation with the Regalia Type-D quest, character swap, and extra achievements. Several bonus weapons and Regalia decals are included as well.
Tools and extras
The MOD ORGANIZER lets you convert your own FBX assets into mod data and upload them to Steam Workshop, where other players can subscribe and use them. It does not create or edit 3D models, so you need your own tools for that part. Episode Ardyn is a separate purchase, and a playable demo exists if you want to test performance first. The game supports ultra high-resolution displays up to 3840x2160 and HDR 10, with High-Res 4K textures available as an optional download you can toggle.
