A spy chicken on a shooting spree
SUPER CHICKEN JUMPER puts you in the feathers of a spy-chicken that Mrs. President trusts to save the planet from evil forces rising from hell. It plays as a runner with a shooter twist: you run, jump, dodge and blast everything in your path across 6 distinct worlds. Along the way you get advice from anime girls, pick up weapons and items to become the most badass chicken around, and watch out for the mushrooms you eat, since some of them are quiiiiite dangerous. There is also an endless mode with 6 different stages and more than 20 challenges to prove you deserve the title CHICKEN OF THE DECADE.
Playing together
The game supports Remote Play Together, so friends can join in over a connection instead of needing their own copy. The tag list also includes Local Multiplayer and Co-op, which fits the arcade action on screen. Whatever the setup, the core loop stays the same: keep moving, shoot what gets in the way, and try to survive the stage.
Before you start
Expect a challenge. The tags include Difficult and Souls-like alongside Arcade and Platformer, so levels are built to push back rather than carry you. The 6 worlds are described as challenging, and the endless mode runs through 6 stages on top of that. The tone is a mix of cute and not-so-cute anime girls, a lovely yet terrifying president, and pixel graphics, so the humor sits right next to the hard parts.
