Racing through space hell

You've died and ended up in space hell, where everyone gets room and board. Sunny-place is a casual racing game where you drive rocket cars around the Tracks of the Abyss, with a cartoony 3D look, cute characters and plenty of ragdoll flopping on the floor. Between races you can head into the city, which has been much improved, and just wander around it.

Playing with friends

Multiplayer is seamless drop-in drop-out, so you can end up in a room with strangers or meet up with friends without a lot of setup. Connection is automatic, but if you want a specific room you can pick your region and overflow by hand, and filtering is only a click away. Racing against other players is on offer alongside the co-op side, so a group can either run together or fight for the top spot as TOP-STAR-RACER.

Your apartment and the city

Racing isn't the whole game. You have your own apartment, and you can go furniture shopping and decorate it however you like. The hell city is there to explore when you feel like taking a break from the track, and characters can be customized to your taste.

Before you start

The driving is described by the developer as extremely nuanced, and it's clearly not for everyone, so expect an acquired feel rather than a clean arcade handling model. A gamepad is strongly recommended for that reason. The game carries a Singleplayer tag alongside its online features, and the store text frames it as family friendly and relaxing alongside the racing and PvP.
