What Straimium Immortaly is

Straimium Immortaly is a 2D shmup roguelike dungeoncrawler from caiys. You play a Straima Ninja leading an Immortaly Incursion into the Cubicus, a procedurally generated nest where the Queeni Emperess births her meany nasties. Runs are hard by design: rooms are laid out differently each time, enemies fill the screen with bullets, and death means starting over. What carries forward is what you unlock — character classes, world mutators, cheats, hats, and Cubicus design seeds you can reuse to revisit a specific layout.

Loot is the other half of the loop. Over a hundred weapons, items, and ninja powers are spread through the Cubicus, so no two runs hand you the same toolkit. Between the shooting, the pickups, and the boss fights, the goal stays simple: push deeper, kill the huge boss meanies, and take down the Queeni Emperess.

Playing it together

Straimium Immortaly supports Remote Play Together, so one person who owns the game can invite friends along through Steam and everyone joins from their own machine. Since the whole game is built around a single ninja running a dungeon, the group experience is mostly about watching each other's runs, taking turns on the keyboard, and comparing how far each attempt got. Online leaderboards are there for the group to chase together — high scores and the fastest speed runs are the shared targets.

What to know before starting

Expect a steep difficulty curve. The game is tagged as difficult, bullet hell, and perma death, so most attempts end early and the fun comes from learning enemy patterns and squeezing more out of each new loadout. Six game modes open up as you play, including a Boss Rush, an arcade platformer, and a Galaxy-wide Incursion purge, which gives you different ways to run the same core shooting once the main dungeon routine clicks.

The presentation is pixel graphics with a psychedelic, atmospheric look and a soundtrack that gets singled out often. It's a good fit for a group that wants something fast, loud, and repeatable rather than a long story-driven session.
