A pair of classic RTS campaigns

State of War : Warmonger / 蓝色警戒 (Classic 2000) bundles two real-time strategy games from the early 2000s: the original State of War (2000) with its 22 missions, and the standalone sequel State of War: Warmonger (2003) with 16 more. Together that is 38 missions of base building, unit control and battlefield destruction. The games lean hard into spectacle, with debris flying everywhere, clouds, smoke and flares, animated cut scenes at the start of each level, and explosions that fill the screen. Two tools shape how you fight: air forces deliver explosive charges onto the battlefield, and an "Advancer" unit can take over enemy buildings instead of just destroying them.

Playing together

The Steam feature list includes Remote Play Together, so a group can join in over a connection rather than needing everyone to own the game. The store text lists Singleplayer among the tags, so the campaigns themselves are built around one player working through the missions. A group can still share the session by watching and taking turns, or by passing control during a mission through Remote Play Together. The Level Editor tag means custom missions exist to try once the bundled campaigns are done.

Before you start

Expect old-school RTS pacing: gather, build, push across the map, and use the air force and the Advancer to break entrenched positions. The two games are separate campaigns, so you can start with the 2000 original's 22 missions or jump straight to Warmonger's 16. Cut scenes play at the start of each level, and the special FX are a core part of the presentation rather than optional polish.
