What Spider Roulette is
Spider Roulette is an online party game for 2 to 4 friends built around one simple, tense idea: cups, spiders, and turns. You hide your own spiders under the cups on the table, then everyone takes turns flipping cups over. The goal is to avoid uncovering anyone else's spiders and to be the last player still standing. The tone is cartoonish and dark at the same time — the spiders and the stakes give it a bit of a horror-comedy edge, but it stays a light, quick party game rather than something heavy.
How a group plays it together
Everyone joins the same online match, hides their spiders, and then play goes around the table one cup flip at a time. Each flip is a coin toss of a decision: pick a cup you think is safe, flip it, and hope it isn't someone's spider. The round keeps narrowing as players get caught, until one person is left standing with a room full of spiders. Because turns are shared, the tension comes from watching other people pick and from the fact that you can't control what they uncover — only what you risk yourself.
Action Packs and luck
If flipping cups feels too straightforward, you can crack Action Packs instead of flipping. These can shift the odds in your favor, but they're a gamble in their own right: an Action Pack can hand you an advantage or a disadvantage, so opening one is its own round of risk. Deciding whether to take a safe flip or roll the dice on a pack is the core strategic choice of the game, and it's where the gambling and puzzle tags show up.
Before you start
Spider Roulette needs between 2 and 4 players, so line up your group before jumping in. It's an online PvP game, so everyone plays together over the internet rather than passing a device around. Expect short, sharp rounds where a single flip can end your run, and expect the hidden spiders to make every cup look suspicious. Bring a few friends, hide well, and don't get greedy with the Action Packs.
