Exterminators vs the Spider Horde
KILL IT WITH FIRE! 2 is a first-person action game where you play as an Exterminator fighting a spider invasion across seven dimensions. You get an arsenal of 45 weapons and gadgets, ranging from a newspaper and a minigun to a rocket launcher and a laser sword. The campaign takes you through a mysterious manor, a Wild West town, cyberspace, Spider Hell, and other unique worlds. Along the way you can brew potions in a cauldron, rampage through a city as a kaiju, defend a saloon from waves of spiders, and race drones in virtual reality. There are more than 60 challenges to complete, and the slapstick plot was written by Miles Luna.
Playing Together
The story campaign works solo or with up to 4 players in online co-op, so you and your friends can blast through the levels as a team. For something more competitive, there is a Humans vs Spiders PvP mode where players take on the roles of both sides. The Spider Hunt mode supports up to 8 players online, with humans going up against arachnids that are controlled by other players. Either way, you get to pick your loadout and cause as much destruction as possible.
Before You Start
The game leans into slapstick destruction and dark humor, so expect plenty of chaos rather than serious horror. It is playable from start to finish on your own, but the co-op and PvP modes are where the group play happens. The campaign offers over 20 hours of content, and there are 15.7 billion spiders waiting across the multiverse for you to exterminate.
