A bar built on bluffing
Liar's Bar drops you into a first-person seat at a table of four in a grimy, dangerous tavern where every game ends with someone paying. You play alongside three others online, and the whole point is reading people: is the card they just played actually what they said, or is it a lie? The stakes are literal. Caught lying at Liar's Deck means a round of Russian Roulette, one bullet in six chambers. Liar's Dice punishes the loser with a bottle of poison, two of which end your run. The tone is dark and bloody, with animal regulars who have their own stories waiting in Table Stories from the main menu.
Four ways to lose
Liar's Deck has players lay cards face down and declare a value matching the table. Call a bluff correctly and the liar faces the gun; call it on an honest player and you take the risk instead. Survive the chamber and the cards reset, so the table keeps turning.
Liar's Dice hides your roll from everyone else. On your turn you bid a total count of a face across all dice on the table, like five 3s. The next player raises by adding dice or climbing the face value, or challenges outright. Lose a challenge and you drink poison.
Bullet Poker is Texas Hold'em with bullets instead of chips. Call to add a bullet to the chamber, or Fold and pull the trigger on what you have already bet. Shared cards reveal one at a time as the pot grows, and going All-In forces everyone to match or face the gun. Each player gets one Coward's Fold to bail on a first turn with a single bullet, and one Switch to swap a card before the table fully reveals.
Slot Machine has you spin and declare how many Hearts you hold, with one slot visible to all. A false claim triggers Death Spin: no Heart means instant death, survival strips your last claim's points. Reach 5 points and you unlock EXECUTE, which kills the lowest-scoring player outright. One DOUBLE SPIN per player lets you spin twice in a turn.
Before you sit down
The game is in Early Access, so expect changes and new games and characters over time. It is an online multiplayer experience built around tables of four, so you need a full table to play. The content includes gore and dark themes, with Russian Roulette, poison, and gunplay as core mechanics rather than background flavor. Read the rules of whichever mode you pick before your first round; the bluffing is simple to grasp but the consequences are immediate.
