A futuristic paintball arena in VR
Snapshot VR is a first-person arena shooter from Giant Scam Industries, built for competitive play and inspired by real-life paintball. The core rule is simple: one shot, one kill. Matches take place among a standard set of competitive obstacles called bunkers, so positioning and line of sight decide most fights. The game is free to play and designed around online PvP, with both solo and team competition.
How your group plays together
Teams compete with up to 5 players each, and communication and coordination are what win rounds. You can find matches through room browsing or basic matchmaking, and cross-platform profiles carry your stats, cosmetics, and maps between platforms. If your group wants to practice first, AI-driven bots let you play solo or together, and training maps offer stationary and moving targets. Multiple locomotion modes are available so different types of VR players can find a setup that suits them.
Maps, customization, and stats
A web-based third-party map editor, made in partnership with 2D Paintball, makes it quick to build new bunker layouts, and over 100 community maps are playable. Layouts are easy to share and load automatically for players joining your game. You can also generate metrics for a custom map to find strong positions and shooting lanes, which is useful if you are preparing for a real-life paintball tournament. Avatar customization covers built-in cosmetics, and active community members can design their own custom cosmetics. Your profile tracks stats and leaderboards across platforms, including kill counts and k/d ratio. For players who want a longer arc, the VR Master League offers a place to compete with the pros.
