Shrunken Survival in a Giant World
Smalland: Survive the Wilds drops you into the "Land of the Small," where everyday environments become massive obstacles. You will traverse lake-sized puddles, climb skyscraper-sized trees, and scramble through cracks in roads. As a Vanguard on an urgent mission, you need to gather resources, craft weapons and armor, and uncover lore from hidden NPCs scattered across dense forests, hazardous swamps, and strange ruins. Survival is a constant challenge because most local wildlife, including ants, cockroaches, beetles, wasps, and spiders, views you as a potential meal. On top of the creatures, weather conditions and seasons are in constant flux, so preparing ahead of time is key to making it through another day.
Playing as a Team
This adventure supports online co-op for up to 10 players, allowing your group to explore, fight, build, and survive the wilds together. You can split up to cover more ground or stick together to take down threats that would be too dangerous alone. Since the world is vast and hazardous, coordinating your efforts helps the whole team progress. Whether you are scavenging for supplies or pushing into a new area, having friends along makes the journey through the wilderness much more manageable.
Building, Taming, and Crafting
Your group can establish a foothold by building encampments either on the ground or high up in the trees. You will scavenge or refine resources to construct your base using multiple material tiers, starting with basic leaves and twigs and working up to sturdy stone. Exploration also reveals recipes that let you tame and ride various creatures, such as leaping great distances on a Grasshopper, moving quickly on a Damselfly, or scurrying around on a Spider. Additionally, you can craft powerful armor sets that provide specific resistances and abilities. Mixing these sets allows you to personalize your appearance while gaining tactical advantages, like gliding through the skies with winged armor or swinging from tree to tree with a grappling hook.
