A shooter where you hit back
Sky Racket puts you in the shoes of RacketBoy or RacketGirl, two kids handed the SKY RACKETS by Santana, the Capybara Goddess, after Korrg the Terrible Tyrant imprisons her and steals her power. You cannot shoot. Your only tool is the racket, so you swing it to bat enemy bullets back at whoever fired them. That single rule drives everything: you are constantly reading incoming fire, choosing an angle, and sending it home. The enemies look cute, but the screen fills with projectiles, so agility and focus matter more than raw firepower.
The game runs as a side-scrolling arcade trip through 5 worlds with vivid backgrounds, 14 hand crafted levels, and over 50 challenges. Each world introduces new mechanics, and bosses and mini-bosses show up in chaotic arenas. There is a pinch of Bullet Hell in the mix, plus an original soundtrack and a special unlocked Arcade mode for players who want the retro treatment. A tennis battle mode pays tribute to the earliest digital games.
Playing together
Sky Racket supports Local Co-Op, so two players can take RacketBoy and RacketGirl into the same run and cover more of the screen with two rackets. Remote Play Together is listed as a Steam feature, which lets a friend join over the internet as if they were on the same couch. Split the incoming fire, keep one player on the tough angles, and pass the tougher boss phases back and forth.
Before you start
Expect a mix of Shoot 'Em Up and Brick Breaker logic: you are returning projectiles, not firing your own, so positioning does as much work as timing. The pixel art is colorful and the tone is family friendly, but the projectile density is real, and the later worlds lean into Bullet Hell patterns. Multiple Endings are listed among the tags, so a full run through the galaxy can land in more than one place.
