What Strikey Sisters is
Strikey Sisters is a fantasy themed action arcade brick breaker. You clear stages by bouncing a ball into bricks, but it plays with more going on than a plain breakout clone: there are magic attacks to fire, power-ups for both the player and the ball, and bosses that push back. The tone is silly rather than serious, with cute characters, jokes, and colorful pixel art throughout. A 90's synth-fantasy soundtrack runs under the whole thing.
Playing it together
The game has a local 2 player co-op mode, and it needs one gamepad to use. Two of you work through the same stages side by side, which is where the fun tends to land: you both juggle the ball, trade power-ups, and lean on magic attacks when a boss gets stubborn. Since it is local co-op, you are sitting on the same screen rather than connecting online.
Before you start
There are three difficulty modes, so pick the one that matches how hard you want the run to feel. The world map is nonlinear — you travel it in the order you want, so you are not locked into a fixed sequence of stages. Along the way you can uncover the whole map, collect gems, unlock secret stages, and fill out the bestiary. That structure is what gives the game its replay value: a first run through the stages is not the same as going back to sweep up everything you missed.
