Building a stained glass window
Sagrada is a turn-based puzzle game about drafting dice and fitting them into a stained glass window pattern. Each die you take has a color and a number, and your window comes with restrictions on both: which colors can sit in which spaces, and which numbers can go where. You also cannot place two dice of the same color or the same number directly next to each other. The artisan who builds the most beautiful window wins.
Drafting and placing your dice
On your turn you select a die from the shared pool and place it on your own window. You have tools-of-the-trade available to shape the dice you can choose from, so you are never stuck with a bad option. Beyond the placement rules, you can aim for public objectives that reward particular patterns, and you can chase your own private goals for extra prestige. Patrons make demands that shift as the game goes on, so you have to balance their fickle tastes against your own signature style.
Playing with others
Sagrada supports online PvP, so you can take turns against other players, each working on your own window while competing for the same dice pool. The game is touch-friendly, which makes it easy to play on a device with a screen you can tap. It also works as a singleplayer experience when you want to puzzle through a window on your own. The pace is relaxed and turn-based, so there is time to think through each placement without pressure.
