A platformer through painted worlds
Rayman® Legends follows Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies after they find a mysterious tent full of captivating paintings. The paintings pull them into a series of mythical new worlds, and the goal is to run, jump, and slap through each one, get home, save the day, and uncover what the legendary paintings hold. It is a side-scrolling action adventure built around fast movement and quick reactions, with plenty of comedy along the way.
Playing together as a group
Four players can jump in and drop out of the action seamlessly, so friends can join or leave without stopping the run. Everyone plays on the same screen, working through the levels side by side. The shared goal keeps the group moving together: reach the end of each world while dealing with whatever the level throws at you. Since players come and go freely, a session works whether your full group is present or people arrive a bit later.
Rhythm maps and boss fights
Some maps are built around music. You jump to the beat of a drum, punch to the bass line, and zip-line during guitar riffs, using timing and rhythm to get through stages set to original and licensed tracks. Boss battles against dragons and other epic creatures play out in 3D, with enemies attacking from all angles, so the whole group needs to stay alert rather than only watching what is directly ahead. Expect a fast-paced challenge that rewards coordination.
