What Pic-Me! is about

Pic-Me! is a round-based card game about deception and imagination. Each round one player becomes the writer, and their job is to write a short text hinting at the card they want to play. Everyone else then plays one card of their own, trying to imitate the writer's card. Once all cards are on the table, the group has to work out which card actually belongs to the writer. The writer's trick is finding the balance: a hint that is too obvious means everyone picks their own card and the writer scores 0 points, and a hint that is too obscure means nobody figures it out, which also scores 0. Only a hint that lands in the middle wins the round. The game needs 4-8 players to start a lobby, so it is built for a full table rather than small duos.

Playing it together

You can open a private lobby with your friends or join a public lobby with integrated in-game voice chat, which also lets you play with strangers. The rounds turn into a mindgame about how well you know each other: you read the writer's hint, look at the played cards, and try to spot the real one while others try to mislead you. Alongside the handcrafted deck of over 75 unique images, you can load user-generated decks through the workshop function, or build your own deck with the simple deck generator. A variety of settings let you tweak the rules so the match plays the way your group wants it.

Before you start

Make sure you have enough people lined up, since the lobby will not start with fewer than 4 or more than 8 players. Expect a talkative, dialogue-heavy table where reading people matters as much as reading the hint, and where the tone stays cartoony, stylized and family friendly. You can customize your character in the character creator and unlock new accessories as you play, so your look carries across matches. If you want a specific feel, check the rule settings before the first round so everyone agrees on how the game will run.
