Defend the Rift Against Endless Orc Hordes
Orcs Must Die! 3 is a third-person tower defense game where you place traps and fight directly alongside them. Your job is to stop massive armies of orcs from reaching your rift. The game offers a huge arsenal of traps and weapons to slice, burn, toss, and zap enemies. The story takes place more than 20 years after Orcs Must Die! 2, following the War Mage and Sorceress as they rebuild their order and train new apprentices. Beyond the main campaign, the Drastic Steps campaign adds flying enemies and war guardians to deal with.
Play the Campaign Together in Two-Player Co-op
The game supports online co-op for two players. You and a friend can run through the story campaign together, splitting the work between placing traps and shooting orcs directly. Coordinating your trap placement with your partner's positioning is key to handling the larger waves. War Scenarios are designed for this scale, putting you outside castle walls to thin out armies hundreds strong before they breach the defenses.
War Machines and Ongoing Challenges
To handle the biggest hordes, you gain access to War Machines, which are oversized traps like a mega flip trap that launches dozens of orcs or a mega boom barrel launcher. After the story is finished, the game keeps going with Weekly Challenges and Endless Mode for survival play. Scramble Mode offers a different loop where orcs evolve with harder tricks each level, and you collect your own modifiers to counter them.
