What Oeuf Is

Oeuf is a 3D physics-platformer where you play as an egg trying to roll back home. The controls stay simple: you roll and you jump, and the rest comes from how the egg's shape and weight interact with the world around you. It's a precision platformer at heart, so expect to line up your hops carefully and read the terrain before committing to a move. The tone is dark and atmospheric but also funny, since you're watching a fragile egg navigate places that were clearly not designed for eggs.

Playing Together

The game supports online co-op, so you can explore the world alongside your friends rather than tackling it alone. Each of you controls your own egg, which means coordinating routes and watching each other's backs as you move through the levels. There are no enemies to fight, so the co-op experience is about shared traversal and figuring out paths together rather than combat roles. It's a relaxed way to play with a group, since nobody is racing a clock.

Before You Start

Oeuf has a calm, rainy atmosphere with no enemies and no timers, so you can take your time and soak in the environment. A new player can expect roughly 4 to 10 hours to get through the adventure. The soundtrack runs about four hours of mostly chill music, which fits the unhurried pace.

There's also a level editor with Steam Workshop support, letting you build and share your own stages. Note that the editor needs a keyboard and mouse to use.
