What's in the archive
Ninja Kiwi Archive is a collection of more than 60 Flash games from the Ninja Kiwi website, kept in their original state so they still run now that browsers have dropped Flash support. The games span over 14 years of the studio's work, so you get the early web versions alongside later titles. That includes Flash versions of games that also exist on Steam, such as Bloons TD 5, Bloons Monkey City, Bloons TD Battles and SAS: Zombie Assault 4, plus the forerunners that led to Bloons TD 6. Genres range across action, casual and strategy, with top-down shooters, 2D platformers, tower defense and survival all represented in the package.
Playing together
The collection supports online co-op and online PvP, so a group can team up or face off in the multiplayer games it contains. Which modes are available depends on the individual game, since each entry is its own original Flash title rather than a shared framework. Singleplayer games are there too, which is handy when only part of the group wants to jump in. The mix of casual and strategy titles means a session can swing from a quick arcade round to a longer tower defense run without anyone needing to learn a new interface.
Before you start
Log in with your Ninja Kiwi account to reclaim progress and save games carried over from the web, so you do not have to start from scratch if you played these before. Expect a cartoony, often pixel-art look across the collection, since these are preserved originals rather than remasters. The games are grouped as an archival package, so browsing the list and picking something that suits the mood of the group is the main thing to sort out before everyone launches.
