What Bloons TD 6 is
Bloons TD 6 is a 3D tower defense game by Ninja Kiwi where you place Monkey Towers and Heroes around a map path and pop every Bloon that tries to get through. You build your defense from 25 Monkey Towers, each with three upgrade paths and its own activated ability, plus Paragon upgrades for the strongest late-game pushes. Your 17 Heroes each bring 20 signature upgrades, two special abilities, and unlockable skins and voiceovers. There are more than 70 handcrafted maps, and Monkey Knowledge gives you over 100 meta-upgrades to shore up the spots where your defense feels thin. Powers and Insta Monkeys can be earned through gameplay, events, and achievements, so you have a safety net on the trickier maps and modes.
Playing it with friends
Co-op runs on every map and mode with up to three other players, in public or private games. Online co-op is the standard way to group up, and you can also use Remote Play on a phone or tablet if someone wants to join from a handheld screen. Between runs, Contested Territory lets your group join forces and battle for territory against five other teams, capturing tiles on a shared map and competing on the leaderboards. Boss Events throw Boss Bloons at you that push even strong defenses, while Odysseys take you through a series of maps tied together by theme, rules, and rewards. If your group wants something custom, the Content Browser lets players create their own Challenges and Odysseys and share them, and you can pick up the most liked and played community content.
Before you start
Single player works offline, so no WiFi is needed when you play alone. Quests dig into what makes the Monkeys tick and are a gentle way to learn the systems before you throw yourself at harder maps. The Trophy Store lets you spend Trophies on cosmetics for your Monkeys, Bloons, animations, music, and more. The game contains in-app purchases for real money, and you can turn those off in your device settings if you want a purely earn-through-play experience. Ninja Kiwi releases several updates a year with new characters, features, and gameplay, so expect the tower roster and map pool to grow over time. Cloud saving asks you to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in-game.
