What Mount Your Friends 3D is about
Mount Your Friends 3D: A Hard Man is Good to Climb is a physics-driven climbing game where you build a tower out of bodies. You take control of a character, grab onto the structure, and haul yourself up while your reserve time ticks down. The setups are the core of it: there are 20 field setups to work through, plus a custom setup creator, and new tower shapes get erected as you compete. As you climb higher, the challenges advance and unlock new setups that put more pressure on you and your opponents. Pacing matters, since your reserve time is what buys you those extra few inches when a hold is just out of reach. The whole thing carries the innuendo-heavy tone the series is known for, so expect the humor to lean that way.
Playing it with a group
You can compete online or in local multiplayer, and the game supports Online PvP, Online Co-op, Local Multiplayer, 4 Player Local, and Remote Play Together, so there are several ways to get a session going with friends. Online play also lets you share stickers, and there is a full range of them to collect for sticker-based emotions. Online leaderboards are there if your group wants something to measure itself against between rounds. Local play is where the game gets intimate, with everyone on the same screen working through the same tower shapes.
Customization and presentation
There is a lot of room to make your character yours. Body paints, faces, and unlockable skin styles are available, along with a variety of trails to stand out in the crowd. Camera support lets you snap a selfie and use your own face in private games, with face sharing included there. Customizable team faces and skins round out the look, and the unlockable stickers give you something to chase across sessions.
Before you start
The game carries Sexual Content, Nudity, and Comedy tags, and the innuendo is baked into the tone, so keep that in mind for who you play with. Physics and platforming are the mechanical backbone, so expect fiddly control and imperfect holds rather than precise movement. Check that your group can use the mode you want, whether that is online, local, or Remote Play Together, before settling in.
