Building a spirits business from scratch
Moonshiner Simulator is an in-depth spirits production simulator where you start with nothing much and grow the operation into a real business. The core loop is the craft itself: brew mash, run moonshine, and work your way up to whiskey, liqueurs and dozens of other spirits. Ingredients matter, so you experiment with combinations to find special recipes that stand out. Alongside the production side, you handle the business side — selling by hand at first, then expanding distribution, hiring assistants, sorting out logistics and hunting for new outlets. Equipment grows with you too: a homemade still becomes professional gear, and you buy and upgrade facilities until they work like efficient mini-factories. The world gives you reasons to travel, with locations ranging from a quiet village and dense forests to a busy town, each a source of ingredients.
Playing together with friends
The game supports online co-op for up to 8 players, so a whole group can build and run the booze empire as one crew. With that many hands, the workload splits naturally: some people handle brewing and recipe experiments, others manage facilities and upgrades, and others deal with sales, assistants and distribution. Everyone contributes to the same operation rather than running separate games, which suits a group that wants a shared project with a lot of moving parts to keep straight.
What to know before starting
This is a simulation and management game with strategy and base-building at its centre, so expect planning and process over fast reactions. It is in Early Access, which means the game is still being developed and things can change as it grows. The tone includes action elements and the store description warns that there will always be those who want to see you fail, so the operation does not develop in a vacuum — expect pressure on the business while you are trying to scale up. It also works as a singleplayer experience if your group cannot all be online at once.
