Cooking for monstrous customers
Monster Meals is a fast-paced cooking game from Giant Warrior Studio. You play as an adorable monster chef running a food truck, traveling from deserts to bustling cities to serve a monstrous clientele. The catch is that your customers are impatient and time is your biggest enemy, so you need to act fast before you become the next dish on the menu. The game blends action, simulation, and time management with quick-time events and a colorful, pixel-art style.
Hunting and preparing bizarre ingredients
The core loop involves hunting exotic creatures in each location to use in recipes. You might hunt rats on the street, pigeons in the square, or cockroaches in the sewer. Once you have your ingredients, you use the food truck's equipment to chop, fry, bake, and cook meals that defy conventional taste standards. As you progress, your food truck grows and you can upgrade it with new equipment to handle increasingly challenging tasks. The campaign has 20 levels spread across 4 groups of locations, each with its own atmosphere and customized vehicle.
Playing together with friends
Monster Meals supports solo play, local co-op, and online co-op, plus Remote Play Together. In co-op, you and a friend control monster chefs in the same food truck and work together to serve demanding customers as fast as possible. A controller is required for local multiplayer. There is also a Survival Mode where you endure increasingly difficult days, playable solo or with up to 4 chefs in local or online co-op. You upgrade your truck, fight the growing pressure, and try to reach retirement together.
