Storming Castle Harwood
Lost Castle is a side-scrolling action RPG beat'em up with roguelike runs through randomized dungeons. Castle Harwood was once a happy land ruled by wise nobles, but wicked magic and a demon army have claimed it. The castle holds the treasure of the defeated Earl, and that promise of riches draws treasure hunters to invade. The corruption is spreading, so there may be good to do along the way. The run is built from randomly generated dungeons, items, enemies and bosses, with 190+ weapons, more than 60+ sets of armor, 100+ items and 60+ potions that can be useful, dangerous or hilarious. Skills and special attacks give a wide range of options, and dead heroes can be sacrificed to gain new abilities.
Playing With Your Group
Up to four players can join online or local, and Remote Play Together is supported. Your group can pick Co-op to push through the castle together, or switch to PvP mode to fight each other. Daily Challenges are there for you and your fellow treasure hunters to take on side by side. The combat is hardcore retro action in the style of classic beat 'em ups, so expect to be swinging, dodging and using special attacks against hordes of enemies and bosses.
Before You Start
This is a super cute but super hard game, and the randomized layout means each run hands you different dungeons, items, enemies and bosses. The hand drawn characters and environments carry a humorous tone even while the difficulty stays high. Multiple endings are in the mix, so a run that ends does not always end the same way.
