A war over Quenrium on a dying planet
Liquidation is a real-time strategy game set on Veá, a world left broken by a cataclysm called the Splintering. From the wreckage rose Quenrium, a substance with life-sustaining properties, and the fight over it became the Quenrium War. You command armies in battles where sci-fi and dark fantasy sit side by side, mixing technology with magic. The game supports both single-player and multiplayer, and it is currently in Early Access.
Three factions with distinct identities
You pick from three factions. The Twilight Crusade are fanatical zealots in golden armor who want absolute control of the planet. The Scourge Alliance is a coalition of Lamia tribes and technologically advanced Frogkin who combine primal ferocity with advanced weaponry to survive. The Legion is a host of demons pouring through a tear in reality, shaped by a godlike entity from the Nether realm. Each faction brings a different flavor to the battlefield, so your choice shapes how you approach a fight.
Commanders who matter but do not carry the fight
Commanders drive the story and level up as the campaign goes on, unlocking new abilities along the way. They are deliberately kept in check: no commander can win alone, and every strength comes with a weakness. Heroes matter, but your army stays essential. That balance keeps the focus on the forces you build and how you use them rather than on a single powerful unit.
Battles built around composition and positioning
Fights in Liquidation are tuned so that every unit and ability has a clear role. The game pushes you toward mid-sized armies, sitting between micro-level control and macro-level strategy. Thoughtful army composition, smart positioning, and well-timed abilities are what swing a battle. Online PvP is available for those who want to test their tactics against other players.
