A LEGO take on all four films
LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game is an action adventure that rebuilds the memorable scenes from all four Pirates of the Caribbean films in LEGO Brick form. You move through the story in the humorous, quirky style of the LEGO video games, with cutscenes that play the familiar moments for comedy. The journey runs from the port of San Juan to the pirate haven of Tortuga and the places in between. Combat, jumping and puzzle solving sit side by side, and the cast includes Jack Sparrow, Captain Barbossa and Davy Jones, each with their own personality.
Playing together
Local Co-op returns, so two people on the same screen can team up and work through the adventure together. Steam also lists Remote Play Together, which lets someone join your session over a connection. The Steam features list Split Screen and Local Co-Op, so check how your setup handles shared play before you start.
Before you start
The game covers content from all four films, so expect a long run through many different sequences rather than one short campaign. Puzzles are part of the flow between fights, and the tone stays light and comedic throughout. The Steam tags include Controller, so a gamepad is worth having ready. The tag list also contains Psychological Horror, which does not match the described tone of the game, so treat it as a store-side label rather than a guide to what you will actually see.
