Playing as the Parr family

LEGO® The Incredibles follows the Parr family through story levels based on both Disney-Pixar films, The Incredibles and Incredibles 2. You move through action-packed levels and a large hub world that includes Municiberg, using each character's "Super" abilities to take on the city's Super Villains. The whole thing is staged in a LEGO world, so the tone stays light and humorous while you fight, build and explore.

Playing together

The game supports 2 player co-op, so a second person can join you and take on levels side by side. A big part of that shared play is assembling LEGO builds together, which is where the co-op really comes into its own. Steam also lists Remote Play Together, which lets someone join your session remotely rather than needing their own copy. Split Screen and Local Co-Op are listed as features, so you can play on one screen with a friend in the same room.

Before you start

Expect a mix of combat, platforming and building rather than a straight brawler: the "Super" abilities differ between characters, so swapping between family members is part of how levels get solved. The hub world is open for exploration between story levels, and the Super Villains you face are tied to the two films' plots, so the story moves through both movies. The game is tagged as family friendly and casual alongside its action and co-op tags, which fits the LEGO approach to difficulty and humour. Controller support is listed, so a pad is a straightforward way to play, especially when two people share a screen.
