A LEGO retelling of the first four stories
LEGO® Harry Potter: Years 1-4 takes you from Privet Drive all the way to the Triwizard Tournament, covering the first four Harry Potter stories in LEGO style. You play as Harry, Ron, Hermione and other favorite characters, moving through the third-person action and adventure as you explore Hogwarts™ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Diagon Alley™, the forbidden Forest, the village of Hogsmeade™ and more. Along the way you learn spells, brew potions and solve puzzles, with the tongue-in-cheek humor and creative customization that is unique to LEGO videogames.
Playing through the stories as a team
Cast a spell with a friend and play through the first four stories together with Co-op play. The game supports Split Screen and Local Co-Op for playing on one screen, and Remote Play Together is available for joining up over a distance. Two players can explore Hogwarts™ castle and the surrounding areas side by side, combining spells and abilities to get past obstacles and progress through the chapters.
Before you start
The game is tagged as Co-op, Puzzle, Fantasy, Comedy and Family Friendly, so expect a mix of spell-casting action, environmental puzzles and light-hearted takes on the source material. It is a Third Person, 3D Platformer style game with an Open World feel across the locations you visit. The stories run in sequence from the first book and film through the fourth, so working through them in order keeps the progression clear.
