Fighting for a way out of the prison

KIBORG is a brutal rogue-lite beat 'em up set in a cyberpunk future. You play as a criminal sent to the worst prison in the galaxy for crimes you did not commit, serving a 1300-year sentence. In this world, even death does not free you: if a criminal dies while serving their sentence, they are reconstructed to return to their suffering. The one way to shorten the sentence is to win on "The Last Ticket." There is a shuttle on the roof of the prison, and if you can fight your way through hordes of other inmates and reach it in time, you will be given your freedom.

How the fights play out

The combat is a hybrid of old-school beat 'em ups, shooters, and rogue-likes. Fights are fast, brutal, and deadly, and you can sever limbs, squash heads, and tear cybernetic cores apart from living foes. There are dozens of enemy types with unique abilities and tactics, and they are mixed and matched to create hundreds of challenging encounters. You wield a variety of melee weapons and firearms of all types, and you use combos and special attacks to devastate your foes. The game is tagged as difficult, violent, and full of gore, so expect a demanding challenge.

Building your body each run

Between fights, you enhance your body with new cybernetic implants each run. Replace your body parts with an array of cybernetic implants, enabling a wide variety of playstyles. Experiment with hundreds of power-enhancing augmentations and apply dozens of mutations to create deadly synergies. The combinations are vast, with millions of possible combinations and countless potential viable builds to destroy those standing between you and freedom.

Playing together

KIBORG is tagged as a singleplayer game, but it supports Remote Play Together, which lets friends join in over a remote connection. The runs are procedurally generated, so each attempt mixes enemies and builds differently.
