Blast Through the Meat
Iron Meat is a run-and-gun arcade shooter set in an apocalyptic future overrun by The Meat, an all-consuming interdimensional biomass that mutates everything in its path. You play as Vadim, fighting back against the invasion and the terrors spawned from scientist Yuri Markov's secret experiments on the Moon. The game follows a linear path through nine retro-inspired levels packed with mutated victims, machines, and bullet barrages. It leans heavily on classic 1990s arcade and console mechanics, with pixel graphics and side-scrolling platforming.
Play With a Friend
Iron Meat supports 2-player couch co-op, so you can grab a buddy and take on The Meat invasion together on the same screen. The game also features Steam Remote Play Together, which lets a friend join your session over the internet as if they were sitting next to you. Beyond co-op, there is a Score Attack mode for chasing high scores.
Before You Start
There are three difficulty settings, and higher difficulties make the multi-phase boss fights even more challenging. The game offers over 30 unlockable skins with interchangeable parts, so you can mix and match pieces like shark heads, robot bodies, and dinosaur feet to customize your character.
