Running the inn together

Innchanted is a top-down action and management game where Yarrul's family inn has been taken by an evil wizard landlord. To get it back you have to prove you are the better innkeeper, which means actually running the place: serve food and potions to customers, brew potions, fish, cook, and deal with whatever walks through the door. The inn is yours to furnish too, with more than 60 decorative items from tables to wall prints, and shells you collect let you buy upgrades from the local WaresWolf to make the team faster and the inn stronger.

You can play solo with a companion AI, or team up with friends for 1-4 players. Online Co-op and Remote Play Together are supported, so a group can split the work across the floor. With several people the job gets hectic in a good way: one person cooking, one serving, one out fishing or gathering, and someone watching the door when creatures show up.

A different layout every day

The magic inn rearranges itself each day, so the floor plan and the mechanics your team has to deal with change constantly. There are over 50 levels to work through, and each one brings a fresh configuration to figure out on the fly. Along the way you face monsters, magpies and CatBurglars sent by the wizard, and you need to win over magical spirits and respect local customs while keeping the Food Critic happy.

Evenings slow things down. The night is a relaxed space to talk to customers, practice mechanics you just learned, and get the next piece of the story. You pick one of five activities — business decisions, alchemy, exploring, maintaining the inn, or resting — and that choice affects the following day. Skip rest and you can brew a potion for extra speed and bonuses to help you serve everyone.

Before you start

The setting is a fantasy world inspired by Indigenous Australian tales, filled with native animals you care for, magical spirits, and lively locals. The tone is lighthearted, with plenty of puns, and the game is tagged as family friendly. Expect a mix of management and combat rather than one or the other: you will be plating dishes one moment and fighting off dangerous creatures the next, all while the wizard keeps changing the layout under you.
