A property war on a shared board

Gromopoli is an online board game about owning land. You buy properties as you move around the board, collect rent from whoever lands on them, and try to stay off the squares owned by everyone else. The goal is to be the last one standing while the other players go bankrupt. The board is shown in a 3D isometric view, and you can pick from different board skins and sizes to set the length of the match.

Playing with your group

You can play with up to 7 other people, for a total of 8 players in one game. If your group prefers team play, Gromopoli supports teams of 2 to 4 players, so you can split into four teams of two or two teams of four. Both online co-op and online PvP are supported, which means you can team up with a friend or go head to head against the whole lobby.

Before you start

Gromopoli is in Early Access, so expect things to change as development continues. The game leans on luck and timing as much as strategy, since where you land and who owns that square decides a lot. Pick a board size that fits how long you want to play: smaller boards keep matches short, while larger ones stretch things out.
