Running a Thieves Guild

Antihero is a turn-based strategy game played on a board representing a gas-lit Victorian city. You take the role of a Thieves Guild master, recruiting street urchins, hiring thugs, and starting a gang to take over the city. Each turn you spend gold to upgrade your guild, hire recruits, and acquire weapons, while infiltrating businesses, sneaking into estates, setting traps, and stealing from your opponents. Bribery, blackmail, and assassination give you ways to stop rival guilds from getting ahead. Gold funds everything, so managing your economy matters as much as your attacks.

Playing Together

You can play against friends online in casual or ranked PvP, or invite them to a match that runs asynchronously, where each player takes their turn when it suits them. For a more direct contest, start a Live Match where everyone plays at the same time. Before the game begins, you can set custom House Rules to change how the match plays out. The game also supports Remote Play Together, letting someone join your session from their own device. Local multiplayer is available for playing on one screen.

Before You Start

The game includes a story-driven campaign for solo play, plus AI skirmishes when you want practice without waiting on other players. Touch controls are supported, so it works on devices without a mouse. In-game leaderboards track how you rank among other Master Thieves. The Master Thief Edition bundles the game with the official soundtrack and several character DLC packs that add skins based on literary characters and characters from Armello.
