Tag and infection with people online
Gorilla Tag is an online PvP game where you play tag or infection against other players. You are either a survivor running away or an infected player trying to catch everyone else. There are no weapons, no menus to manage mid-round, and no complicated setup. You push off surfaces to jump, squeeze them with both hands to climb, and use the terrain to shake a chase or close one down. Movement is easy to pick up but hard to get really good at, so most of the skill comes from practice rather than reading instructions. You can hang out in a public virtual jungle with whoever is around, or set up a private room and play with people you know. The stakes stay low, which means your group can just chat, wander, or invent your own games on the side.
Moving with your hands only
Everything you do uses hand and arm movement. There are no buttons, no sticks, and no teleportation. Swinging your arms carries you forward, pushing off surfaces launches you, and gripping with both hands lets you climb trees and cliff faces. You can also swim, slide, swing on ropes, and hang glide through the clouds. Parkour up vertical surfaces is the main way to escape or chase, and players who learn the routes can outmaneuver opponents who only run on the ground. It runs in VR with first-person, 6DOF movement, so your real arms are what drive the character.
Maps, extras, and things to know before starting
The map list keeps growing. It includes the original tag maps such as Forest, Canyon, Mountain, and Beach, plus experimental modes like Ghost Reactor, Hoverboard Racing, Monke Ball, and Prop Hunt, and player-created maps. There is a City where you can visit a store with a rotating selection of items to buy, play with, and wear on your character. Crossplay with the PC versions means your group can play together across platforms. The game is in Early Access and is moddable, so expect things to change as it develops. The main requirement is VR, since the whole design is built around arm-based locomotion.
