What Flat Heroes Is
Flat Heroes is a 2D precision platformer built around four moves: run, jump, dash, and attack. The controls are simple to pick up, but the levels are designed to push you toward mastering them. You make your way through more than 300 handcrafted levels and take on 10 unique final bosses. The whole thing uses a minimalist art style with strong visual effects, so the action stays readable even when a screen fills up with geometric threats.
Playing Together
You can go through the whole thing alone or share it with up to 4 friends across all modes. Co-op is drop in and drop out, so people can join or leave without restarting the run. Beyond the campaign, there are unlimited survival levels with daily challenges and leaderboards, plus versus modes where you and your friends compete against each other. Survival mode also captures unique GIFs of your best moments. Remote Play Together is supported, which lets friends join in over a connection rather than needing to be on the same couch.
Before You Start
The difficulty ramps up. Early levels ease you in, but later challenges ask for precise timing on your jumps, dashes, and attacks, so expect a learning curve even with the simple control scheme. It works as a party game as much as a solo run: grab a few friends, pick a mode, and either push through the campaign together or compete in versus. If someone gets stuck, the drop in and drop out setup means the group can keep playing without waiting on one person.
