A card game built on a board you shape

Faeria is a turn-based strategy card game where the battlefield is part of your deck-building decisions. The board is a hex grid that grows during the match: you can raise mountains, build forests, fill lakes, or harness the sands of the deserts, and each of those lands opens up the cards you can play. So a match is not just about which cards you brought, but about how you build the terrain toward your own plan. You craft your deck, shape the battlefield, and fight for victory, choosing your own path rather than following a fixed route.

Playing with your group

Faeria supports online PvP and online co-op, so your group can face each other in head-to-head card battles or team up for co-operative missions. There is also plenty to do on your own: solo campaigns, puzzles, and enemy AI matches, including AI opponents in draft mode. The store text lists 100+ hours of solo content alongside the co-op missions and puzzles, so a group can split between competitive matches and working through challenges separately and still be playing the same game.

Modes worth knowing before you start

Pandora is Faeria's draft mode: you build a deck under draft rules and then choose to play against the AI or test it in PvP, with rewards based on how well you do. It works as a way to grow your collection without committing to a fixed deck. The Oversky campaign sends you through a journey to defeat World Bosses, and there are challenges that reward you as you clear them. All cards are earned through simply playing the game, across solo campaigns, draft mode, and PvP, and the collection totals 300 cards, which the store text says can be earned in under 50 hours. The game uses a DLC-based business model rather than expensive micro-transactions.

What to expect from the pace

This is a turn-based game with a fantasy setting, tagged as relaxing as well as strategic, so matches reward planning over quick reactions. Expect to spend time reading the board state, deciding where to place lands, and figuring out how your opponent's terrain choices limit their options. The community side is active too: official Discord, subreddit, forums, and The Hub are all listed as places players gather.
