Command a medieval war economy
DSS 2: War Industry is a real-time grand strategy game where you build cities, run production chains, and move armies across a procedurally generated map. Cities grow to support the war effort: workers pick up tasks automatically by priority, settlers can be sent out to found new settlements, and logistics networks keep goods flowing between them. Science research and tech trees unlock upgrades, while experience builds over time. Fortifications and guard posts let you turtle up when a front gets hot, and automation keeps your industry running while your armies are out conquering new land. Soldiers are modular — you combine animals, weapons, equipment, and specializations to make each unit, and mounts can be captured and bred.
Playing together
Online co-op supports up to 64 players, and players can drop in or out at any time. Resources are shared across the group, so one person can specialize in economy while another handles armies, or you can split territory and coordinate supply lines between your cities. Split-screen local co-op supports 4 players on one screen, and Remote Play Together is available. Per-player difficulty and casual or advanced control schemes are customizable, which makes it workable to team up with younger players or beginners alongside more experienced ones.
Before you start
The map generator produces a new tactical situation each game, so no two campaigns play out the same. Game modes range from intense boss battles to peaceful creative building, and dynamic difficulty means most systems run on their own — you choose what to focus on and what to leave alone. A Battle Lab mode lets you build armies and pit them against each other without a campaign, and creation tools let you design maps, flags, characters, and voxel models. Expect a game with a lot of moving parts: supply, food, production priority, and army positioning all matter, but the automation means you are not required to micromanage everything at once.
