Build your own fighter in Conton City

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 puts you in Conton City, the largest and most detailed Dragon Ball world the series has seen, with enhanced graphics over the first Xenoverse. You create your own character from scratch: pick a race, set the appearance, then shape the abilities and moveset as you go. Iconic characters from the series show up as teachers, so you train under them and get ready to battle enemies that threaten the flow of History. Progressing through the game keeps opening up more ways to customize your fighter, so the build you bring into a fight stays personal to how you play.

Play together online

The game runs on online multiplayer. You can fight other players around the world in one-on-one showdowns, or team up with them in Raid Battles to take on gigantic foes. Battles cover both single fights and larger encounters against multiple enemies, and in-game events keep the online modes running. The tag list includes Online Co-Op and Online PvP, so a group can split between cooperative raids and competitive matches depending on the mood.

What to know before starting

Expect a story-rich fighting game with RPG-style character growth rather than a quick match-only brawler. The game has been supported with 7 years of DLC, adding more than 40 characters and storylines drawn from Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, and the Dragon Ball movies, plus free updates along the way. Some of that content sits outside the base game, so check what is included in your version before you plan a session around a specific character or pack. The store page also notes the game is moddable.
