What the game is
SUPER DRAGON BALL HEROES WORLD MISSION is a tactical card game set in the Dragon Ball Heroes universe. You make your own avatar in Hero Town, a place where the Dragon Ball Heroes card game is the biggest form of entertainment, and follow that avatar's road to becoming world champion. The story takes a turn when villains from the virtual game world turn up in Hero Town and start causing damage, which pushes you into the game world to team up with well-known Dragon Ball characters and bring peace back. The card pool runs past a thousand cards and more than 350 characters, so there is plenty to work with when you assemble a deck.
Playing it with your group
Your group can battle each other in online or local matches, so you can pick a fight across the internet or on the same setup. Deckbuilding sits at the center of every match: you choose which cards go into your deck, then put them to work during the fight. There is also a Card and Mission Creation Mode, which lets you build your own cards and missions to play through.
Before you start
Expect a game that leans on card strategy as much as it does on action, with a story mode running alongside the battles. Take time with the deck side of things before jumping into PvP, since knowing what your cards do matters more than quick reflexes. The Card and Mission Creation Mode is there when you want to make something of your own rather than play through what is already on offer.
