What Deep Dish Dungeon is

Deep Dish Dungeon is a dungeon crawler built around exploring a hand-crafted, puzzling dungeon. You move through corridors, rooms and passageways, scavenge for resources, and dig into the mystery hidden in the depths. It has metroidvania and crafting elements, so a lot of what you find only becomes useful later once you have the tools or knowledge to use it. Combat is part of the trip too: enemies behave in different ways, and learning those patterns is how you get past them and reach the treasure behind them. The game is deliberately light on hand-holding. Nothing is spelled out for you, so progress comes from paying attention to the environment, checking every shadow, and opening every door you can reach.

Playing it with friends

You can run the dungeon alone or with up to two friends in online co-op. Co-op here is cooperative by design rather than competitive: you share what you find, pool what you learn, and keep each other alive. Splitting up to cover more ground and then comparing notes works well, since half the game is noticing details and the other half is figuring out what they mean. If one of you spots a clue the others missed, that is exactly what the mode is for. The same patience applies with a group as solo, just spread across more eyes.

Camp, crafting and food

Between runs you return to your camp and sit by the fire to plan the next push. Resources gathered underground get turned into new tools there, and into meals. Food matters more than it sounds: recipes unlock over time and each one affects your stats differently, so what you cook changes how strong or capable you are on the next outing. Foraging and scavenging feed directly into this loop, which means a slow, thorough sweep of the dungeon pays off back at camp.

Before you start

Expect a slow pace and some stretches where you feel stuck. The dungeon is built so that solutions come from observation and persistence rather than prompts, so rushing through it will leave you missing the things that make it click. Give it time, revisit areas with fresh eyes, and treat every hint as worth following.
