Fighting the hunk horde
CYBERHUNK is a first-person action roguelike where you take on waves of robotic zombies called "hunks" inside Cyberhunk Industries. Their latest experiment broke loose, and now these demonic machines are hunting you through three hand-crafted levels. The waves grow larger and faster as you go, so you need to learn the arenas, dodge the swarm, and crack metal skulls to earn money. Clearing a wave rewards you and your companions with a power-up, and picking up duplicates of the same power-up stacks its effect. Examples include Super Shades for faster attacks and Dogfight for extra shots while you are mid-air.
Playing together online
You can fight the mechanized freaks alone or join an online co-op session with up to four players. When a buddy gets overtaken by the horde, the group can revive them and keep pushing forward. Everyone shares the same goal of surviving the waves and escaping, so coordinating on which power-ups to grab and where to hold your ground matters.
Gearing up and hunkifying
Explore each level to find cash, then spend it at the shop to pick from six unique weapons. Get in close with the Double Duty Shotgun or clear space with the C-37 Payloader's rockets. Each level also hides a HUNKIFIER, a machine that powers up your arsenal further. Save enough money, bring your favorite weapon to it, and upgrade from strong to ridiculously strong. Collecting and hunkifying all your weapons is how you become the Cyberhunk and escape the horde.
