A small Crusaders Quest that sits beside your work
Crusaders Quest : Mini is a clicker and idler built around the warriors of Crusaders Quest. The battle runs on its own, so your party keeps fighting bosses while you do something else on the PC. Clicking directly is an option when you want to join in, and your clicks and key presses get reactions from the warriors. Progress along the way brings new warriors and new costumes, including characters and costumes that only appear in this game. The original Crusaders Quest roster is here too, so you can collect the fighters you already know in their mini form.
Playing it together
Online Co-op is listed as a Steam feature, so you can link up with friends over the internet rather than sharing one screen. Beyond that, the game is built as a desktop companion: it runs in a window next to your work or study, and everyone in the group can keep their own session going at their own pace. Trading is one of the tags on the game, which gives the group something to talk about when comparing collections. The setup is casual, so a group can start without a long rules explanation.
What to know before starting
The game is free to play and tagged as singleplayer alongside the co-op feature, so expect the core loop to be your own collection and your own battles. Combat is automatic by default, with manual clicking as a supplement rather than a requirement, and the incremental structure means the game keeps producing while it sits open. The window is customizable: backgrounds from the original game can be switched on or off, dragged anywhere on the screen, and resized through five size steps. That matters if you plan to keep it running beside other windows, since you can shrink it down or move it out of the way. The tags cover a wide range of ideas, from creature collecting and strategy to life sim and time management, but the day-to-day play is simple: let the warriors fight, click when you feel like it, and pick up new warriors and costumes as they come.
