A story-driven dungeon crawl

Quest Hunter is an isometric action-RPG set in the Dark World, a place where fire is the main treasure and a shovel is a loyal friend. Your choices in non-linear dialogues influence the storyline, so the group's decisions shape how the plot unfolds. Between fights you will explore dungeons, solve puzzles by moving, turning, lighting, switching and digging, and hunt for treasure maps and stashes. Combat is hack-and-slash style against mysterious beasts, bandits and bosses, and you level up your skills, find, create and upgrade weapons and armor, cook potions and make bombs along the way. Keep a torch handy: you are safe only by the light of the torch.

Playing together

You can play alone on the couch or form an online party for up to four players, with cross-play in co-op mode available for all platforms. Online Co-op and Remote Play Together are supported, so your group can team up however it fits. Fighting evil shoulder to shoulder is the core of co-op, and the randomly generated dungeons mean each run asks the party to find the way out again. Alongside the combat you can claim space for a camp from the Dark World, build and protect it, and gather trophies and stashes together.

Before you start

Expect a mix of combat, puzzle-solving and dialogue choices rather than a straight linear campaign; the dungeons are randomly generated, so layouts and encounters change between attempts. The tone is cartoonish and humorous with family-friendly fantasy content, and controller support is listed. Fire and light matter to survival, so watch your torch as you dig up treasures and unravel the enemies' plans.
