A bounty hunt in the year 3030
Cowboy 3030 is a third-person shooter set in a futuristic Wild West. You play a bounty hunter in Hololasso County, taking on the Nebularos, a gang of aliens and robots. The game mixes roguelike runs with 3D bullet hell combat: enemies fire in patterns you have to dodge, snipers take precise shots, and bosses like Blade Mistress fill the screen with red lasers you dash through. Each enemy type has its own attack pattern, so fights stay active and you need to keep moving rather than stand and trade hits.
Playing together with friends
You can run the game solo or team up with friends for online co-op, up to 4 players. Everyone picks a hero with their own kit, and the heroes cover different ranges and roles. Calix uses a close-range revolver, the Electro Lasso to hit several foes at once, and a Flash Bang to blind enemies. Keri works at long range with a marksman rifle, the Electro Screen to amplify shots, and the Bowling Bomb for damage from a distance. Teri fights up close with a shotgun, pulls enemies in with the Magnetic Grappler, and stuns them with Electric Shock. Mixing these kits lets a group cover close, mid, and long range while juggling crowd control.
Builds that change every run
Progression runs through a grid that generates differently each time, so the perks on offer are never the same twice. Between runs you enhance abilities, upgrade your weapon, and stack perks to shape a build around the hero you are playing. Because the grid is randomized, one run might push you toward aggressive close-range play and the next toward ranged damage or utility. Runs carry permadeath, so a bad stretch of fights can end the attempt and send you back to start over with a fresh grid.
