What ClickRaid is
ClickRaid is an incremental clicker game built around multiplayer, inspired by Clicker Heroes and Tap Titans. You click, upgrade your systems, and push the numbers higher while clearing stages. A lot of it works in an idle style too, so it does not demand your full attention the whole time. Progress comes from several systems at once: Heroes give you damage and are upgraded with bonuses and XP, Artifacts give varying bonuses and only upgrade with BossSouls, RaidSouls buy their own set of bonuses, Charm upgrades with Gems and Tokens, and your Inventory holds items with bonuses based on your stage progression. Ascending, known as Prestige in other games, resets your Stage count in exchange for bonuses, and that reset is a normal part of moving forward.
Playing it with your group
You start by picking your in-game name and landing in the Lobby selection menu. Pick a lobby that already has more than one person in it and read the Tutorial before doing anything else. Classes are the core of the multiplayer side: each player picks one, and a class has unique effects on the other members of your party, so what you choose changes how the whole group plays. The game is not meant for solo play, so your group is the point rather than a bonus. There are competitive aspects alongside the co-op ones, and the community can answer questions if something does not click.
Currencies and what to expect
There are five currencies, each from a different source. XP drops from killing any enemy. BossSouls come from defeating Bosses, and RaidSouls from their Raid variant. Tokens are flying discs that show up on screen and are collected by mousing over them. Gems come from WallBosses, the stronger Bosses that decide how far you can progress. Expect the systems to look overwhelming at first, especially if incremental games are new to you.
Hosting a multiplayer server may not work on every network. It relies on UPnP and UDP hole punching, and if your network allows neither, you will not be able to host a game.
