A fast 2D fighter with flexible moves
CHAOS CODE -NEW SIGN OF CATASTROPHE- is a hi-speed 2D fighting game that keeps the controls simple while giving you plenty of options in how you play. Each of the 16 characters has 4 extra moves available, and you pick 2 of them during Character Selection. That choice changes how a character handles, so you can build a version that fits your style before the match starts. There is also a "Color Edit" Mode where you can change a character's color scheme.
Playing together with your group
The game has 7 modes, including "Versus Mode" for playing against each other on the same setup, "Network Mode" for fighting over the internet, and "Rank Matches" where you try to climb to the top ranking. "Arcade Mode" and "Mission Mode" are there for when you want to play on your own. Online play is available for players connected to the internet, and Remote Play Together is supported, so friends can join in from their own setups.
Before you start
The game is tagged as difficult, so expect a learning curve while you work out the characters and their move sets. Picking your 2 extra moves at Character Selection matters, since that decision shapes what you can do in the fight. Take some time with a few characters to see which combinations click before you head into Rank Matches.
