What Super Woden: Rally Edge is

Super Woden: Rally Edge is a top-down arcade rally game and a spin-off of the Super Woden saga. It leans into classic arcade racing with a 1990s feel rather than chasing realism, and it treats car culture as the heart of the experience. The view is top-down with a stylized, colorful 2.5D look, and the whole package is built around driving, split-screen competition and the garage. An original soundtrack was written to match the emotions of rally racing, and there's a photo mode if you want to stop and frame a shot instead of chasing the clock.

Playing together

The game supports local multiplayer for up to 4 players in split-screen, so a group can share one screen and race against each other. Steam also lists Remote Play Together, which lets friends join in over a connection instead of sitting at the same machine. Beyond playing against each other, you can record your times online and compete against other players' records, so a group can compare runs and try to take the top spot.

Before you start

Expect a game about managing a garage as much as driving: you buy, sell, upgrade and customize your cars, and the vehicle list runs from the smallest and humblest machines up to unstoppable Hillclimb cars. Resource management and economy tags point to that side of things, so budgeting between races matters. The presentation draws on comic book styling and old-school arcade conventions from the 1980s and 1990s, with a renewed graphical style crafted down to the last detail. It's a PvP arcade racer at its core, so the fun comes from beating the other drivers on screen and then trying to beat their times later.
