Armed birds in a roguelite dungeon crawl

Blazing Beaks is a top-down shooter where you take control of armed birds fighting through piles of mutants, monsters and creepy creatures. The world is colorful and full of secrets, mysteries and levels to explore. The core hook is greed: artifacts are tempting to pick up, but taking them will make you really suffer. Levels are procedurally generated and loot drops are random, so no two runs play out the same way. There are 10 playable characters, each with unique abilities that change how you approach a fight.

Playing Story mode together

Story mode supports 1 to 2 local players. You and a friend share the screen as you blast, zap and disintegrate an endless onslaught of invaders while searching for the origin of evil. Beyond the standard run, you can pick a seed and replay the exact same levels, take on a newly generated daily run to compete with other players, or try twisted challenge modes. Character mods let you create your own bird, share it, and play with custom characters made by the community. Controller support covers the most common gamepad types.

Tournament mode for the group

Tournament mode is arena-based local multiplayer for 2 to 4 players, built to test friendships. Deathmatch puts everyone out for themselves, with the last beak standing taking the win. One gun mode hands every player the same randomly chosen weapon that cannot be swapped during the round. Drop Hearts mode makes hurt players spill hearts that anyone can grab. Skull keeper mode rewards whoever holds the golden skull for a set time by draining 1 HP from all opponents. Hunting mode starts everyone with a spear, and you must retrieve it after throwing it before you can throw again. Remote Play Together is available for the Steam features listed.
